Arthur Rackham's Creepy Trees

I was listening to an NPR interview with Guillermo del Toro and he noted that the inspiration for the visual design for the Faun's legs in the film came from the trees of Arthur Rackham, which he described as slightly disturbing.  I knew Rackham's drawings for Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, and I remembered the trees, but only vaguely. So I did some digging. I was so intrigued, I thought I would share them. Here they are, in all their glory. They are creepy indeed. A/J
